Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School in Southwest Miami-Dade, Florida has an opening for a full-time English Teacher for the current 2026-27 school year. The school seeks to hire and retain employees who are skilled in their field, desiring to work in a Christ-Centered environment and support the school’s mission. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for high school English. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide clear and consistently high-quality English instruction for all students.
• Create instructional lesson plans and activities that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in a meaningful learning experience.
• Implement instructional strategies and resources that are aligned with rigor of a college preparatory high school and meet the needs of all students, including those with varying learning styles.
• Work collaboratively with other English faculty to foster an environment of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in English is required.
• At least one-year experience in teaching at a high school level preferred.
• Must be able to demonstrate the technology skills needed to use digital books and interactive classroom technology.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be fully respectful and supportive of the mission and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School.
• Must have a professional and pleasant, service-oriented demeanor.
