Job summary

Southwest Allen County Schools seeks a certified English teacher to join our team in Fort Wayne, IN. The ideal candidate will engage students, differentiate instruction, and integrate technology to enhance learning outcomes.

Candidates with an Indiana teaching certificate, an English degree, and excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply. Master’s in English is preferred and Dual Credit/AP opportunities may be available.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to create a learning environment that challenges students at all ability levels and encourages inquiry, collaboration and creativity. Teacher will be required to integrate technology into classroom activities; differentiate instruction; effectively utilize formative and summative assessments; use data to inform instruction, etc.
