Job summary

Huntington Learning Center is seeking part-time tutors to teach Reading, Writing, English and SAT/ACT prep. You will follow Huntington's curriculum and work with students individually or in small groups to strengthen academic skills.

After paid training, you’ll provide feedback, monitor progress, and help students build confidence and motivation for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Strong knowledge of Reading, Writing, English and/or Literature.
• Experience in tutoring or teaching SAT/ACT prep preferred.
• Desire to help students learn and succeed.

Do you love teaching but wish you could spend more time with students and less time lesson planning and grading?

At Huntington Learning Center, we provide the curriculum, materials, and individualized student programs, so you can focus on what you do best: teaching and helping students succeed.

After paid training in our proven instructional methods, you'll work one-on-one or across two to four students. You'll help students strengthen academic skills, build confidence, and reach their goals.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. (Required)
• Strong knowledge of Reading, Writing, English, and/or Literature.
• Teaching/tutoring experience, including SAT/ACT prep. (Preferred).
• A genuine desire to help students learn and succeed!

Teaching Hours

Part-time hours scheduled around your availability

• Monday–Thursday, 2:00–8:30 p.m.
• Saturday, 9 am-3 p.m.
