English Language Learning (ELL) Instructor Pool - Adjunct (Part-time)

Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) is establishing a pool of qualified candidates for adjunct and substitute instructors to teach ELL courses. Opportunities may arise prior to or during each semester. Program details are available at https://www.cvtc.edu/academics.aspx#programs.

Adjunct instructors are hired per course, which may be face-to-face, online, or hybrid. All instructors are expected to meet students and attend meetings on-site at CVTC campuses in Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Menomonie, Neillsville, and River Falls, WI.

Instructors play a vital role in supporting student success, modeling CVTC core abilities, and demonstrating commitment to excellence. They should be collaborative, innovative, and proficient with educational technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in ESL, TEFL, VESL, TESL, Applied Linguistics, Bilingual Education, or Foreign Language Instruction, with relevant coursework or experience.
• At least one year of ESL teaching experience preferred.
• Qualified per CVTC standards and compliant with HLC, FQAS, and other licensing requirements.
