Job summary

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is seeking certified English Language Education teachers for elementary grades (K-4) for the 2026-27 school year. CCSL serves 1,200 students with a mission to provide top-quality education in a diverse community.

Qualifications

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is seeking to expand our ELE team with additional certified, English Language Education teachers to work with our elementary students (K-4) for the 2026-27 school year.

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is a tuition-free public charter academy, providing an academically challenging program in a safe, structured environment. CCSL opened its doors in September 2013 to serve students in K-3. The school has expanded each school year and currently serves students in K-12 as of the 2022-23 school year.

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell (CCSL) is searching for an adventure seeker to join our rock star team of educators! Are you dedicated to providing a high quality education choice to the students of Lowell? CCSL has 1,200 students who are patiently waiting for YOU (well, as patiently as a K-12 student can wait...).

CCSL teachers' primary assignment may be a specific grade level (including homeroom duties) or subject teaching to multiple classes/grades. The Teacher may also be assigned additional non-instructional duties such as proctoring exams, supervising recess or lunch, or leading a club/group/activity.

What You Will Do:

• Teach: Infuse your creativity into delivering engaging lessons and ensuring students achieve academic growth.
• Manage: Apply school and classroom rules consistently and effectively by utilizing preventive discipline techniques, motivating and engaging students, communicating expectations to students clearly, and establishing and maintaining a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Record: Observe, evaluate, report and record students' performance, behavior, social development, and physical health.
• Collaborate: Work with parents/guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve students' behavioral or academic struggles and celebrate successes and growth.
• Commit: Demonstrate commitment to the school community by adhering to school policies and procedures and meeting attendance and punctuality guidelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher, and fluency in subject area to be taught.
• All required state certifications for position - EL/ML/ESL for Elementary + SEI Endorsement
• Completion of all required reference and criminal background checks.
