Responsibilities

  • Assist educators in instructional duties and general responsibilities such as organizing and tutoring support.
  • Provide additional student support including accommodations and online assessments.
  • Assist in related data entry for students enrolling in the program or school.
  • Facilitate program implementation and support maintenance efforts like transportation, guest speakers, field trips.
  • Translate communications between students and teachers for sign language interpreters.

This position will assist appropriate educators in servicing students in the specialized program. The Paraprofessional completes paperwork, performs data entry, completes organizational tasks, and provides tutoring support and/or sign language interpretation to students in the specialized program.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: This list is illustrative only and is not intended to be a comprehensive list of tasks performed by this classification.
