Lake Forest School District seeks an English Language Arts Teacher for a middle school assignment. The role focuses on delivering standards-based instruction, using district curriculum resources, and supporting student growth in literacy and citizenship.

To create a flexible content‑based program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to establish effective rapport with students; to motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for successful post‑secondary transition, in accordance with each student's ability; and to establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members. Working with interdisciplinary teams, provide a school culture conducive to the intellectual, physical, social and emotional development of adolescents to ensure success for every student.
Required to attend school meetings, programs and activities outside the instructional day as required by LFEA contract.
Ten‑month work year. Salary and schedule determined by the Board of Education.
