Job summary

Seven Hills Foundation's Stetson School, a trauma-informed residential and educational program for young men ages 10-22, is seeking a dedicated English Language Arts Teacher to join our education team. You’ll deliver high-quality instruction while supporting students with a range of emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges.

You’ll have the unique opportunity to work in a small classroom setting, build meaningful relationships with students, and make a lasting impact on their academic

Qualifications

  • Plan and deliver engaging ELA lessons aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
  • Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning styles and IEPs.
  • Integrate trauma-informed strategies and differentiated instruction into the classroom.
  • Design creative, inclusive lessons that build academic skills and confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Participate in IEP and ISP (Individual Service Plan) meetings with caregivers and specialists.
  • Track student progress through regular assessments and detailed reporting.
  • Work closely with clinicians, case managers, and direct care staff to support holistic student development.

Job description

Pay: $59,980-$75,730 Annually

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am-3:30pm or 8:00am - 4:00pm

New Hire Sign on Bonus $10,000 for fully licensed applicants /$5,000 for applicants requiring a licensure waiver!

Classroom Environment & Behavior Management
  • Foster a structured, respectful, and nurturing classroom culture
  • Apply positive behavior support strategies, consistent with CPI and agency guidelines
  • Maintain safety, order, and emotional security for all students
Team Collaboration & Professional Growth
  • Work closely with clinicians, case managers, and direct care staff to support holistic student development
  • Attend team meetings and engage in school-wide planning
  • Pursue ongoing professional development to meet state and program standards
