Berlitz is seeking an English Language Instructor to deliver high-quality language instruction and support students in their learning journey. The role involves teaching designated languages, maintaining records, and collaborating with academic staff to enhance teaching effectiveness. A Bachelor's degree and teaching experience are required, along with proficiency in the target language.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under the direction of the Service Delivery Manager and Academic Specialist, the English Language Instructor demonstrates commitment and passion for quality language instruction and education, serving as an expert in teaching and an ambassador for Berlitz. The Instructor teaches designated languages to assigned classes and provides student support in accordance with Berlitz teaching and customer service principles. This face-to-face program schedule is during daytime hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS: The role requires frequent talking, hearing, standing, walking, and the use of hands for handling objects. Occasionally, employees may need to exert up to 10 pounds of force for lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The position operates in a professional office setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
SALARY: $22.00 per hour
