Jersey College in New Jersey is seeking an English Composition Instructor to teach nursing program students and contribute to curriculum delivery. The role involves preparing progress reports, tracking attendance, and evaluating student competence in alignment with program goals.

The instructor will participate in faculty meetings, maintain professional qualifications through ongoing education, and support the program director and campus administration as needed.

• Bachelor's degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in teaching discipline.
• Master degree preferred for higher qualifications.
• Teaching experience preferred but not required.

English Composition Instructor

Essential Functions

• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports
• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records
• Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives
• Implementing evaluation devices of student learning and clinical experience to measure progress and competency
• Attending faculty meetings
• Maintaining professional qualifications through participation in continuing education programs, in-service training, and academic courses
• Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration

• Master degree is preferred
