Job summary

Jersey College is seeking an English Composition Instructor to join our Nursing Program at the Ewing Campus. The role focuses on developing student writing and critical thinking, maintaining attendance and progress records, and evaluating student achievement in alignment with program objectives.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with teaching credentials in nursing-related disciplines, or equivalent, and demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 15 semester hours or 23 quarter hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited school
• Master degree is preferred
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports

• Attending faculty meetings

Position:

English Composition Instructor

Essential Functions:

• Preparing student progress reports and grade reports


• Maintaining accurate and timely attendance records


• Evaluating student competence based on program philosophy and objectives
