Job summary

Welocalize is seeking a Maps Visual Design Relevance Evaluator - English (US) for freelance work. This role reviews the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs, and also checks user-focused elements such as viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance.

The position is remote with a rate of US$20.30 per hour and an estimated volume of 8–10 hours weekly. Start date is flexible; the project runs weekly and selected candidates will be contacted at

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs.
• Assess user-focused elements like viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance.
• Review personalized location recommendations to ensure relevance and helpfulness.
• Follow strict project instructions and complete tasks accurately, including tagging specific issues (e.g., Icons not properly masked, Labels too small).

Requirements:

• To be located and have the right to work in the United States.

• Participation is limited to maximum three project rounds. Please note that the task request will be dynamic and we will be providing you with a heads-up as soon as possible once there is a project round available for you.

• Start date: The project runs on a weekly basis. Eligible candidates will be added to a pool of certified raters and contacted at least 48 hours before kickoff.
