Qualifications

  • Master's degree in English, literature, composition and rhetoric, or professional writing is required.
  • A master's with 18 graduate hours in related fields is acceptable.
  • A doctorate or 18 graduate hours with a doctorate is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach day, evening and/or online English and Literature courses.
  • Prepare lesson plans, develop curricula, syllabi, goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate student progress and maintain required documentation.
  • Attend professional development training.

Education

Master's degree in English, literature, composition and rhetoric, or professional writing
