Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Burnet is seeking an Engineering Technician I for nights to support receiving and purification systems. You will start, monitor, and troubleshoot systems, decontaminate equipment, sample, fill, and inspect products, and maintain lab equipment.

You’ll work cross-functionally to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals. The role requires handling chemicals, following SOPs, and contributing to continuous improvement while maintaining daily production demands and high attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plus
• 0-1 years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive) is preferred
• Previous chemical handling experience is a plus
• Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
• Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000
• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 130 lbs
• Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks
• Creativity and innovation to improve productivity, cost savings, and safety
• Commitment to operating safely and with high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment
• Sample, fill, and inspect final products
• Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis
• Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards
• Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal
• Ensure on-time delivery of high-volume products from make to ship
• Propose and implement process improvements
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

The Role:

Our site inBurnetis seekingaEngineering TechnicianIpositioninreceivingto join our team.

In this role you would be responsiblefor starting, monitoring, and troubleshooting purification systems.Additionally, the technician will perform decontamination, sampling, filling,and inspecting products. This role will be part of a team that strives to ensure our products meetthe highest standards of safety and quality while meeting the timeliness of ourcustomer'sdesire.Furthermore, the technician will work cross-functionally.

Shift schedule is a 3-2-2-3 on Nightsat 6am - 6pmshift once fully trained and certified.

What You'll Do:

• Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment;

• Sample, fill, and inspect final products.

• Pull chemistry samples andsubmitto the lab foranalysis;;

• Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards;

• Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal;

OutstandingCandidatesWillHave:
