Job summary

Entegris is seeking an Engineering Technician II (Nights) to join our Burnet, TX site. The role involves starting, monitoring, and troubleshooting purification systems, performing decontamination, sampling, filling and inspecting products, and ensuring on-time delivery of low-volume products.

The candidate will work cross-functionally with Engineers, support PMs, and contribute to safety and quality standards. Night shift operates 6pm-6am on a 3-2-2-3 rotation after training.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, etc.).
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in chemistry or a related field is a plus.
  • Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Run purification systems under quality and engineering controls.
  • Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment.
  • Sample, fill, and inspect final products.
  • Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis.
  • Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product.
  • Inspect products to ensure quality standards.

Engineering Technician II (Nights)

Job Description

The Role: Our site in Burnet is seeking a Engineering Technician II position in receiving to join our team. In this role you would be responsible for starting, monitoring, and troubleshooting purification systems. Additionally, the technician will perform decontamination, sampling, filling, and inspecting products. This role will be part of a team that strives to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality while meeting the timeliness of our customer\'s desire. Furthermore, the technician will work cross-functionally. Shift schedule is a 3-2-2-3 rotation on nights (6pm-6am) once fully trained and certified.

What You\'ll Do
  • Run purifications systems under specific quality and engineering controls;
  • Perform decontamination of manufacturing equipment;
  • Sample, fill, and inspect final products.
  • Pull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysis;
  • Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good product;
  • Perform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards;
  • Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposal;
  • Ensure on-time delivery of low volume products from make to ship;
  • Propose and implement process improvements
  • Work with Engineers to run experiments, troubleshoot systems, create/update PMs and maintain spare parts
  • Other duties as assigned.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive)
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plus
  • Previous chemical handling experience
  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus;
  • Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus;
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000;
  • Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbs;
  • Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks
