Engineers and Analysts - Maintenance & Sustainment Engineering

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, is seeking multiple candidates to support the Systems Readiness Directorate's (SRD) Maintenance Engineering and Sustainment Divisions. Specific positions include Principal Engineer, Senior Engineer, Engineer, Senior Analyst, and Journeyman Analyst. These positions are based in Huntsville, AL, and Corpus Christi, TX, and are contingent upon contract award.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Provide maintenance engineering, depot and field liaison engineering, technical support, and system analysis in support of the SRD Maintenance Engineering Division for field and depot maintenance, overhaul, modifications, upgrades, and repairs for assigned multi-service aircraft, aircraft power plants, aircraft components, and subassembly items.
  • Provide engineering and technical expertise in support of the management and execution of programs covering CSI, CAI, and all other spares and Maintenance and Overhaul (M&O) acquisition-related requirements, PQDRs, CBM, AWCF Investment Program initiatives, and standardization activities.
  • Provide Depot liaison engineering support, including production/process/manufacturing engineering support; direct shop floor support to aircraft and component production; and resolution of quality engineering-related production problems.
  • Provide field liaison engineering support, including on-site field engineering support for aircraft repair, modification and operation, and resolution of field engineering-related operational and maintenance problems.
  • Provide engineering and technical expertise in the area of Critical Safety Item (CSI)/New Source Testing (NST) and Documentation.
  • Provide engineering and technical expertise in the area of Supplier Interface and Oversight Program (SIOP).
  • Provide engineering and technical expertise in the area of Production Lot Testing (PLT).
  • Provide engineering and technical expertise in the area of SARs.

Required Experience:

  • BS Degree and 20 years of experience (Principal Engineer), 15 years of experience (Senior Engineer), or 10 years of experience (Engineer).
  • BS/BA Degree and 8 years of experience, or HS Diploma and 11 years of experience (Senior Analyst). BS/BA Degree and 3 years of experience, or HS Diploma and 6 years of experience (Journeyman Analyst).
  • Must be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience and technical knowledge of US Army Rotary Wing and Uncrewed Aircraft.
  • Experience and technical knowledge of US Army Airworthiness standards, policies, and methods.
  • May have to travel up to 20% of the time.
