Job summary

NETC seeks an Academic Program Director for its Engineering Technology Program. You will deliver systematic instruction, design curricula, and manage program budgets while advising students and supporting college administration.

The role covers classroom and lab instruction across electrical, mechanical, civil, and mechatronics tracks, plus ongoing program evaluation, development of new courses, and leadership in committees and external partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering technology or related field with a minimum of two years work experience in an engineering-related occupation.
• Master's degree preferred with five years of experience in engineering technology and a PE license; supervisory work or team leadership is a plus.
• Willingness to teach across multiple engineering technology disciplines and to participate in college activities and committees.

Responsibilities

• Deliver systematically planned instruction in engineering technology; design and develop program curricula and maintain syllabi and course materials.
• Assist Dean with curriculum development, program evaluation, and personnel issues; monitor and report on program outcomes.
• Manage budget and property related to the program; forecast personnel and equipment needs.
• Provide student advisement and guidance for academic and professional development.
• Participate in professional development and college activities, including committees, recruitment, and external partnerships.
