Job summary

Baker Hughes invites students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related STEM fields to join the 2027 University Internship program in the United States. You will gain hands-on experience across engineering and technology disciplines, supported by mentors, and exposed to HS&E practices and a diverse corporate culture.

Qualifications

Be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics or STEM.
Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
Fluent in oral and written English.
Be able to relocate for the duration of your internship.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Complete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements.
Assist engineers with ongoing projects by conducting research, data analysis, and providing technical support.
Participate in the design process, creating drawings or prototypes, and contributing to the development of new products or technologies.
Keep accurate records of experiments, designs, and project-related information, and prepare reports or documentation as needed.
Collaborate in software development, coding, or programming tasks with engineers.
Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues, engineers, and supervisors to achieve project goals, and address technical issues or challenges with proposed solutions.
Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures to ensure compliance.
