Predicate Logic, Inc. is seeking a motivated Engineering Technician V to join our team in Norfolk, VA. Founded in 1992, Predicate Logic is a woman-owned, employee-owned high technology engineering service company with offices in Chesapeake, VA, and Charleston, SC, supporting communications engineering, training, cybersecurity, and Navy and Marine Corps programs.

Security Clearance: Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions.
• Assist in training others in the operation and performance of systems.
• Install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at company and client sites.
• Comply with engineering documentation standards, plans, system specifications, and test procedures.
• Perform test, evaluation, check-out, and certification tasks.
• Validate and verify various electronic systems.
• Provide technical data and evaluations for components, equipment, and systems in line with engineering plans, layout, and contract requirements.
• Support systems engineering activities with subject matter expertise.

Experience & Qualifications

• Knowledge of RF communications systems engineering and/or integration.
• Ability to investigate and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Relevant experience and/or certifications as per the contract requirements.
• Possess or be eligible for DoD Security Clearance.

Education

Six (6) years of professional training with a degree or formal training, or ten (10) years with HS/GED.
