Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking someone to perform and document engineering and production audit tests at our Bellwood, IL site. You will set up, run, monitor, and close out tests, verify data accuracy, and communicate issues to lab staff.

Training on test setup and completion will be provided, along with opportunities to develop new test methods and templates. The role emphasizes data integrity, calibration, and thorough record keeping for compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• This position requires ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, monitor, and complete engineering and production audit tests.
• Check raw data for accuracy as data is collected.
• Inform appropriate laboratory personnel of any problems with the test equipment or data collection.
• Document completion of the test(s).
• Assist in training in proper test set-up and completion.
• Develop software solutions for new standard tests including documentation, testing, training, and optimization.
• Develop analysis templates for new test procedures; verify template outputs for accuracy and completeness.
