Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience in an engineering and/or steel detailing environment.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with in-house engineers to produce detail calculations and sketches.
• Assist project detailers during job setup.
• Create detailed layouts for connection designs.
• Use 3D models for framing understanding.
• Run connection design software as needed.
• Prepare connection code maps.
• Review shop detail drawings.
• Ensure economical connections for efficiencies.
• Gather design sketches and calculations for approval.
• Perform other duties as needed.
