The US Army Corps of Engineers in Mississippi seeks an Engineering Technician to coordinate the development of statements of work, interface with stakeholders, and receive program and project assignments with clear objectives and expected results.

You will proactively develop detailed work plans, carry assignments to completion, review issues, analyze data, and prepare interim and final technical reports, cost estimates, and progress updates as required.

Qualificações

• Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or industrial technology.
• At least 24 semester hours in engineering, engineering technology, construction, physics, drafting, surveying, or mathematics.
• One year probationary period may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates the development of statements of work; interfaces with and informs relevant stakeholders; and receives program and project assignments with general statements of objectives and expected results.
• Proceeds on own initiative to develop detailed work plans and carry assignments to completion.
• Reviews program- and project-related issues and takes initiative to develop and provide solutions.
• Makes extensive use of literature and record material pertinent to the work and draws heavily upon own knowledge, experience, and judgment.
• Analyzes test data and reports results, making recommendations and drawing conclusions as appropriate.
• Performs duties such as directing and reviewing project work, preparing cost estimates, and preparing progress reports, as necessary.
• Prepares and/or assists in preparing interim and final technical reports of work performed.
