Job summary

H.F. Lenz Engineering is seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineering Technician/Designer in Lancaster, PA. You will design plumbing, fire protection and piping systems for commercial buildings, turning client needs into executable designs using AutoCAD and Revit.

The role requires an Associates Degree in CAD/Drafting and up to 5 years of experience; CPD is a plus. You will collaborate with a team to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality engineering solutions for various projects.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in CAD/Drafting or Architectural Drafting required.
• 0–5 years plumbing/piping design experience preferred.
• CPD certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Excel required.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes (ASPE) preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to coordinate between multiple trades & disciplines.

H.F. Lenz Engineering, a leading consulting engineering firm is seeking an experienced Plumbing Engineering Technician / Designer in our Lancaster, PA office. This role will be responsible for performing engineering design focused on plumbing, fire protection and piping systems for various Commercial buildings and facilities.The candidate will work closely with our team to turn our client's needs and our ideas into reality utilizing AutoCAD and Revit modeling.

Requirements / Responsibilities

• Minimum Qualifications:Associates Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or Architectural Drafting and Design
• 0-5 years of plumbing / piping design experience is preferred or a combination of experience with education and training
• Certified in Plumbing Design (CPD) is a plus
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and MS Excel is required
• Knowledge of construction, plumbing codes, ASPE, and Specifications is preferred
• Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to meet project deadlines and provide outstanding service to clients
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects
• Ability to coordinate between multiple trades & disciplines
