Job summary

H.F. Lenz Engineering in Johnstown, PA seeks a Mechanical Engineer/Designer to perform HVAC design for commercial buildings using AutoCAD and Revit. The role focuses on modeling, load calculations, and sizing equipment while collaborating with a project team.

You will conduct field studies, construction observation, and interface with clients and vendors, learning from experienced engineers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• 0–5 years HVAC design experience preferred.
• EIT/FE certification or CPD is a plus.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and MS Excel is required.
• Knowledge of construction, plumbing codes, ASPE, and Specifications is preferred.
• Ability to work in and foster a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and provide outstanding service to clients.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to coordinate between multiple trades & disciplines.
