Job summary

Thea Energy in New Jersey is seeking skilled personnel to build, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems within a high‑tech manufacturing environment. You will assist in developing new equipment, tools, and inspection techniques to improve production efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities include organizing tools/workspace, assembling test articles, and supporting process development and tooling. A strong work ethic and deadline discipline are essential.

Qualifications

  • High-school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in shop fabrication, manufacturing, research, or high-tech industry.
  • 5+ years of technical experience with mechanical or electrical systems, high pressure or high vacuum systems, cryogenic systems, plumbing, soldering, system testing, power or controls systems.
  • Comfortable working to aggressive deadlines and exceptional work ethic.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite tools or similar software.

Responsibilities

  • Build, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Assist in developing new equipment, tools, procedures, and inspection techniques to reduce production time while maintaining high quality.
  • Responsible for tool and workspace organization and maintenance.
  • Assemble and troubleshoot test articles and supporting test equipment.
  • Collaborate to support development of manufacturing processes and tooling.
