L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is hiring an Engineering Technician for System Integration & Test as Lab Custodian in Clifton, NJ.

The role supports a high-performance engineering team by managing laboratory space and equipment, interfacing with security, metrology, safety, and plant engineering to ensure compliant operation. Essential duties include equipment calibration, IT security custodial tasks, safety monitoring, and leading test-automation initiatives across programs and labs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience OR 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Secret Security Clearance
• 2+ years experience managing electrical test equipment and coordinating calibration.
• 2+ years experience organizing and tracking the movement and usage of test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage lab space and equipment across two electrical engineering laboratories.
• Coordinate calibration with metrology and source optimal test equipment.
• Perform local computer security custodian duties and security compliance.
• Lead test automation initiatives across programs/labs.
• Handle lab safety monitoring and EHS coordination.
• Verify operation of lab equipment after IT updates.
