Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Clifton, NJ is seeking an Intern for Integration/Test Engineering to assist with the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto devices. You will help develop test plans and procedures and document results.

Work with engineering teams to support testing, issue analysis, and formal system acceptance activities.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field at an accredited university.
• Strong interest in hardware/software integration and testing.
• Ability to document and present test results.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test.
• Support design, development, and implementation of test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Document testing issues and analyze results; support acceptance testing.
• Present test strategies and results to internal and external customers.
• Assist with failure investigations and FRB meetings.

Job Description

• Support the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and softwaresystems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices
• Support design, development, and implementation of cost-effective procedures fortesting and troubleshooting of components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, andsystems
• Support development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, testreports, test flow, and test case design and implementation
• Document testing issues and failures and perform analysis of test results
• Support formal systems acceptance testing activities
• Present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers
• Support failure investigation activities and failure review board (FRB) meetings

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, ComputerEngineering, or other related field at an accredited university.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of communications systems, software programming languages, automated softwaretest, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanicaldesign and analysis
• Desired skills include requirements analysis and verification, software scripting andusage of automated testing frameworks and application

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $32.50. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
