Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the Material Technical Support Branch, Code 24423. The role involves resolving material quality discrepancies and ensuring shipboard systems meet safety and compliance standards.

You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the MATERIAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT BRANCH - CODE 24423 of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: resolving technical discrepancies and mentoring junior engineering staff by applying Navy standards and interpreting corporate level policies to derive local-level instructions to maintain strict quality control and operational safety across shipboard systems.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-10) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: reviewing and interpreting shipboard maintenance requirements and manufacturing processes by working independently within established technical practices and collaborating with lead engineers to ensure the accurate material certification and mechanical readiness of naval vessels.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
