Work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions. This technician performs at this level one or a combination of such typical duties as:Constructing components, subunits, or simple models or adapting standard equipment; may troubleshoot and correct malfunctionsFollowing specific layout and scientific diagrams to construct and package simple devices and subunits of equipment.Conducting various tests or experiments which may require minor modifications in test setups or procedures as well as subjective judgments in measurement, selecting, preparing, and operating standard test equipment and recording test dataExtracting and compiling a variety of engineering data from field notes, manuals, lab reports, etc., processing data, identifying errors or inconsistencies, selecting methods of data presentationAssisting in design modification by compiling data related to design, specifications, and materials that are pertinent to specific items of equipment or component parts, developing information concerning previous operational failures and modifications, and using judgment and initiative to recognize inconsistencies or gaps in data and seeking sources to clarify informationWritten and oral communications abilities commensurate with this management roleTS/SCI/CI poly level Clearance required.Job Description:The scope of work covers systems engineering, technical, and management support services for the government and its associated acquisition, technology, logistics, and program management offices. Support is provided to multiple stakeholders responsible for the development, integration, and sustainment of specialized operational capabilities. The scope of support includes program management, engineering analysis and design, configuration management, testing, quality control, sustainment, cybersecurity, training, and field service representative (FSR) support for a static collection capability that functions as a subsystem within a larger integrated system.This is in support of the development, production, and sustainment of specialized intelligence capabilities.
