Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking an Engineering Technician II in Jefferson, WI to perform electrical, mechanical, and environmental tests on current and new product designs under supervision. You will document results, support continuous improvement, and ensure test requirements meet ISO 17025 standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2 years of relevant work experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Set up test equipment and products per procedures.
• Test prototypes and existing products for mechanical, electrical, environmental functions per ISO 17025.
• Document measurements and results; prepare test reports.
• Assist with lab audits and 5S programs.
• Support manufacturing through testing and troubleshooting.
