Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in Burnet, TX seeks an Engineer Technician II to operate and troubleshoot purification systems on the 6 PM–6 AM night shift. You will perform decontamination, sampling, filling, and inspection of products, while supporting lab analysis and cross-functional projects with Engineers to optimize processes.

The role requires 2+ years in a technical field; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with an Associate degree in chemistry/ process operations a plus. Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Fill different sized canisters with chemistry and package finished goods.
• Perform inspection of complete product for quality standards; maintain PMs and lab housekeeping.

Additionally, the technician will perform decontamination, sampling, filling, and inspecting products. This role will be part of a team that strives to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety and quality while meeting the timeliness of our customer’s desire. Furthermore, the technician will work cross-functionally.Shift schedule is a 3-2-2-3 on night shift from 6 PM-6 AM once fully trained and certified.What You’ll Do:Run purifications systems under specific quality and engineering controlsPerform decontamination of manufacturing equipmentSample, fill, and inspect final productsPull chemistry samples and submit to the lab for analysisFill different sized canisters with chemistry and package as a finished good productPerform inspection of complete product to ensure proper quality standards;Perform lab maintenance including PMs, ordering supplies, cleanup and waste disposalEnsure on-time delivery of low volume products from make to shipPropose and implement process improvementsWork with Engineers to run experiments, troubleshoot systems, create/update PMs and maintain spare partsOther duties as assignedWhat We Seek:Knowledge of sublimation, decon, valve building, harvesting, fill, and morph solidsGood communication skills, training experience and troubleshooting skillsThe ability to keep up with daily production demandsAccountability to have good attendance and consistent daily performanceDiscipline to follow work instructions and standard operating processesA dedication to excellence by being proactive with tasks to keep processes going and a willingness to perform whatever task is neededThe creativity and innovation to improve productivity, cost savings, and safetyA commitment to operating safely and with the highest quality standardsOutstanding Candidates Will Have:2+ years of experience in a technical field (chemical, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive)High School Diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate degree in chemistry, process operations, or another technical field a plusPrevious chemical handling experiencePrevious manufacturing experience is a plusKnowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plusWorking knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 45000Frequently lift up to 50lbs and push up to 130lbsFlexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasksWhat We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
