Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks an Engineering Technician—Level 2 or 3—in Oklahoma City to support the US Air Force E-3 Sentry and related government platforms. You will perform engineering, reverse engineering, and logistics tasks to resolve obsolescence and ensure warfighter readiness.

The role requires active Secret clearance, readiness to work on-call, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across testing and evaluation.

Qualifications

• Active US Government Secret Clearance or higher required or in Continuous Evaluation.
• DoD IA Level II certification (A+, Network+, SSCP, Security+, CySA+, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC or equivalent) mandatory or achievable after employment.
• On-call availability including nights and weekends as needed.
• Experience maintaining software and hardware on networking and IT systems.
• Experience with classified shipping and receiving.
• Experience with inventory tracking in classified and unclassified settings (e.g., SAP, 2AP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software applications to isolate license key requirements and expiration dates.
• Serve as team focal point for classified shipping and receiving.
• Maintain both classified and unclassified inventory databases.
• Provide technical advice, training, troubleshooting and repairs on E-3 4045 aircraft mission and ground support systems.
• Assess product needs per customer specifications.
• Collaborate with teammates and engage with engineering for problem analysis and resolution.
• Record information on maintenance information systems.
• Act as on-site representative to the customer’s organization.
• Follow PPE and safety guidelines and regulations.
• Work in varied spaces and positions, including confined or elevated areas.
