Job summary

Saalex is seeking an Engineering Technician II in Camarillo, CA to support DoD test, evaluation, engineering, and sustainment efforts. The Engineering Technician II will provide hands-on technical support for the installation, maintenance, fabrication, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic, electrical, communications, telemetry, and related systems.

This position works closely with engineers and technical teams to support system integration, testing, verification, maintenance

Qualifications

• Three years of experience supporting electronic, electrical, mechanical, avionics, or related technical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, wiring diagrams, and documentation.
• Experience using electronic test equipment and common hand tools.
• Capability to fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, fabricate, and test electronic, mechanical, communications, or telemetry systems.
• Perform system checkout, verification, calibration, and certification activities.
• Fabricate and modify cable assemblies, wiring, and related hardware from drawings and technical docs.
• Assist with engineering change implementation, documentation updates, and maintenance procedures.
• Support engineers with installation, testing, troubleshooting, data collection, and system evaluations.
• Maintain project records, inventories, logs, and technical documentation.
