Job summary

CoorsTek in the United States is seeking an Engineering Technician II. This role combines practical technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to support engineering staff and assists in departmental projects. Responsibilities include creating Bills of Materials, improving production methods, and operating CNC equipment.

The ideal candidate has a TCAT Degree in Machine Tool Technology, a minimum of 3 years experience, and strong CAD skills. Comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong desire to learn and apply new concepts daily.
  • Ability to manage projects and communicate risks.

Responsibilities

  • Create Bill of Materials and generate costing information for orders.
  • Assist in design and production tooling.
  • Improve production methods and product quality.
  • Write CNC programs using Mastercam.
  • Collaborate with sales team on manufacturing issues.

Skills

Self-motivated
Detail-oriented
CAD proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks
CAM experience with Mastercam
Knowledge of Zeiss CMM’s and precision measuring tools
Print reading and GD&T symbols
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong mathematical reasoning
Effective time management

Education
