Carroll County Government's Public Works - Engineering is seeking an Engineering Technician I to perform basic design, field data collection, and drafting to support roadways and storm drain systems. This role contributes to the development of the Capital Improvement Program and related highway design projects, applying basic highway principles and regulations in daily work.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of CAD experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two or more years of related experience, including CAD experience.
• Comparable amount of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement.

Aufgaben

• Perform computer aided design of projects for roadways and storm drains.
• Conduct field investigations and data collection.
• Prepare worktables and drawings for paving and pipe replacement contracts.
• Support Capital Improvement Program and highway design projects.
