Job summary

Paycom - ATS seeks an Engineering Technician I in Newport, RI to support cabling, equipment, and preventive and remedial maintenance across network, Media Center, and telephone systems. A SECRETS clearance is required as part of the role.

Responsibilities include installation, termination, testing, labeling, and relocation support for network, Media Center, and telephone assets, in accordance with NUWCDIVNPT labor category descriptions and security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, repair, test, and maintain Ethernet, copper, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling.
• Perform remedial and preventive maintenance of devices, facilities, and components.
• Mark equipment, cables, and jacks with appropriate classification labels.
• Support installation and relocation of network, Media Center, and telephone equipment.
