Pennoni is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Construction Engineering team in King of Prussia, PA. The role focuses on field QA, site observations, materials testing, and ensuring compliance with drawings and specs.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Civil Engineering, are recent graduates or soon-to-be graduates, and possess strong reading, reporting, and communication skills; NJ FE/EIT or Special Inspector certifications are a plus. Some overtime may be required.

Pennoni Associates is currently seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to work in our Construction Engineering team while based at our office in King of Prussia, PA office.

Job Responsibilities

• Working in the field at building construction sites as a Quality Assurance representative; this involves observing, documenting and reporting on the construction work and performing construction materials testing.
• Inspecting construction and materials compliance with the drawings and specifications.
• Materials include reinforced concrete, masonry, structural steel, spray applied proofing, soils, earth work, and foundations.
• Field testing of plastic concrete, grout, mortar, block, fireproofing, soils. non-destructive testing of welds, and high strength bolting installation.
• Communicate and coordinate with the engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Work construction hours (which may include overtime).
• Additional duties may be assigned, as needed.
