Job summary

Bodine Electric Company in Northfield, Illinois is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our hands-on engineering team. You will test motors, gearmotors, motion control systems, and customer applications, build prototypes and test fixtures, and document test results to support product development and verification.

You will work closely with Electrical and Electronics Engineering, perform data collection and analysis, and help maintain laboratory equipment while traveling occasionally as

Qualifications

4-10 years of related electromechanical/electronic experience.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematic diagrams.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and documentation.

Responsibilities

Test motors, gearmotors, and motion control systems using electrical test equipment.
Collect, analyze, and document test results and prepare reports.
Build sample motors and PCB assemblies for evaluation.
Design and build test fixtures for lab and manufacturing use.
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
Travel occasionally as required.
