Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; engineering/geology degree is a plus.
• Valid certifications are a plus and may raise starting pay.
• Must meet pre-employment criteria including motor vehicle record.
• Must provide a personal car for job sites; mileage reimbursed.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Able to work outdoors on construction sites.
• Lift/move up to 60–80 pounds.
• Willing to obtain company-paid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform field observations and testing of construction materials.
• Report observations and findings to project team verbally and in writing.
• Interact with senior staff on various projects as needed.
• Promote a safe workplace and proper PPE usage.
• Complete company-paid certifications to perform testing and inspection tasks; pay raises upon certification success.
