Job Description:

Provides field support, on-site support, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting efforts to keep systems operational.

The work involves assisting the ISEA in DDG modification and INCO support involving the AN/USQ-82(V) FODMS and GEDMS systems in CONUS, and assisting with FMS ship checks, modifications, and INCO in Australia, Japan, and Korea. The ideal candidate would be a USN IT/IC officer from a DDG who has experience with the AN/USQ-82(V) system and is willing to travel internationally approximately 25% to 50% of the time. Travel durations range from 10 days (common) to 45 days (uncommon). Preferred locations are San Diego and Norfolk, where GEDMS ISEA east and west coast activities are based.

Requirements:

High school/vocational school degree or GED certificate and four (4) years of experience in the operation, maintenance, and testing of U.S. Navy interior communications systems, networks, and/or network user systems.
