Vermeer is seeking a hands-on technician to help design and test prototype electrical components for Vermeer machines. You will collaborate with engineers, create harnesses, and perform tests across several machines in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a technical school or related program and at least 3 years of mechanical, agricultural, or technician experience. Occasional travel may be involved, and the position is onsite at a Vermeer campus.

Document and record test reports, project challenges and changes to machine components.What We’re Looking For- Technical School or skilled trade program in auto tech, diesel tech, industrial systems tech, ag systems tech or related field is preferred.- Minimum of 3 years of previous mechanical, agricultural, or technician experience and/or job training.- Fundamental knowledge to safely operate tools and complete assigned processes.- Fundamental knowledge in diagnostics and trouble shooting.- Fundamental knowledge of testing procedures for functions and operation level limits.Travel- Occasional travel is expected of this position.Work LocationONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus.
