Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Field Technician I in Cincinnati, OH to perform testing and site observations under supervision, supporting construction materials testing.

You will operate testing equipment for soil and concrete, review drawings, document results, and travel up to 25% with occasional heavy lifting. A High School diploma and 6 months construction experience are preferred; ACI certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of construction-related experience preferred.
• ACI Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (soil, concrete or other) and report data.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams.
• Make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.
