Job summary

Jobtailor in Palmdale, CA seeks a Technician to build systems from engineering drawings, support assembly, and deliver documentation. This role emphasizes reliability and collaboration, with strict adherence to ASME/IEEE standards and familiarity with D38999, Dsub, twinax, RJ45 connectors.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, plus additional education or related experience for Technician 2 or Technician 3, strong communication, and the ability to obtain an active U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years additional education and/or related experience for Technician 2.
• 4 years additional education and/or related experience for Technician 3.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings in accordance with ASME and IEEE standards.
• Working experience with industry standards for connectors including D38999, Dsub, twinax, RJ45, etc.
• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Build systems using engineering drawings.
• Support startup & shutdown procedures, ATP/Delivery, post-delivery support.
• Support the build and installation of custom cables and wire harness assemblies.
• Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings.
• Perform detailed calculations and analyses of data.
