Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Engineering Technician C to join our Salt Lake City, Utah facility. You will support the design, construction, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of electro-mechanical and optical systems, working from drawings and manuals with limited supervision.

The role requires 6+ years of related technical experience or an Associate Degree with relevant experience, and offers a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off on the second shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant technical experience, or an Associate Degree with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Experience with complex machinery, instrumentation, or computer-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the construction, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical systems.
• Perform testing, alignment checks, adjustments, and modifications following procedures.
• Operate test equipment and record data in prescribed formats.
• Work from engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, and instructions to complete technical tasks.
• Serve as a resource to other technicians within your areas of expertise.
