Primary Talent Partners has a new 5 month contractEngineering Technician opening with an aerospace client operating out of New Port Richey, FL.Potential for contract renewal or direct-hire opportunities are dependent upon performance and company budget.

Pay: $20 - $22/hr;W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment.
Schedule: 2nd shift;Mon - Thurs: 2:45pm - 11:15pm, Fri: 10:30am - 2:15pm


Description:

Pall Aerospace is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our second shift team. In this role, you will perform hands-on assembly and testing of aerospace valves and components, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and precision. This position plays a critical role in supporting our mission to deliver industry-leading fluid management solutions for aerospace applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test valves and assemblies by interpreting blueprints, job sheets, and technical documentation
• Perform proof testing and troubleshoot assembly or test issues
• Set up and operate test stands according to specifications
• Maintain productivity and part quality while following safety and quality procedures
• Accurately complete all required documentation (e.g., routers, scorecards, hazard recognitions)
• Maintain and manage company-provided tools and work area
• Work with chemicals, oils, and solvents
• Contribute to process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support company policies and objectives

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• 2+ years of experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude
• Familiarity with hand tools and measurement instruments (e.g., torque wrenches, calipers)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job sheets, and work instructions
• Manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus
• Understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic principles and components is a strong asset
• Must be able to work assigned overtime as required

Physical Requirements:

• Must pass a visual acuity exam
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a daily basis
• Ability to stand for long periods (8+ hours)
• Frequent bending and twisting
• Must be able to work with solvents and other chemicals
