Job summary

AHEAD builds platforms for digital business by combining cloud infrastructure, automation and analytics, and software delivery. The role supports day-to-day Foundry Engineering tasks and handles quotes, BOMs, and part numbers within the company portal.

The Engineering Technician collaborates with the Engineering Technician Manager and Product Engineer Manager, maintains work instructions, performs tests, and provides production support as needed.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience creating and working with product and service quotes.
• 2+ years of experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• 0–2 years of experience building and integrating computer components into systems.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work closely with technical resources and other staff.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Experience in engineering change process.
• Proven technical acuity and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of quality control and computer assembly methods.
• Understanding of computer architecture and server hardware components.
• Proven experience in risk management.
• Proven experience in change management.

The Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting day-to-day tasks within the AHEAD Foundry Engineering group. The role is also solely responsible for tasks assigned by the Engineering Technician Manager or Product Engineer Manager, which will include activities such as working within Excel workbooks, providing a quote for services or products and creating part numbers within a company portal. Other activities may include creating and maintaining BOMs, reviewing Engineering Change Orders, triage production tickets and maintaining documentation for work instructions.

Competencies

This role is eligible for a $3.00/hr differential pay for the 2nd shift schedule.

Shift hours:

1:00pm-10:00pm

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings ("OTE") for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
