About The Role
The Engineer Technician plays a crucial role in the Durable Goods Manufacturing sector by ensuring that engineering processes and systems operate efficiently and effectively. This position involves collaborating with engineers to develop, test, and implement manufacturing processes that meet quality standards and production goals. The Engineer Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment and systems, providing technical support, and maintaining documentation related to engineering projects. By applying technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, the Engineer Technician will contribute to the continuous improvement of manufacturing operations. Ultimately, this role is vital for enhancing productivity, reducing costs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to customers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in durable goods.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with CAD software and other engineering design tools.
- Familiarity with quality control methodologies and standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in the design and development of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Conduct tests and inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of engineering projects, including specifications, test results, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize production efficiency.
