Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in SolidWorks for drawing creation.
• Manufacturing experience preferred; defense industry experience is a plus.

Job description

Excelco/Newbrook Inc. is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our Engineering Department. ENI is a large-part, non-repetitive manufacturing company supporting critical Department of Defense programs. With continued growth, new equipment installations, and a strong backlog of work, this position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact manufacturing projects while growing professionally.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D manufacturing drawings (SolidWorks)
• Design fixtures, tooling, and shipping containers
• Perform structural analysis (bending, buckling, connections, basic finite element analysis)
• Aid in manufacturing planning
• Assist in project planning, status tracking, and budget support
• Create full production kits
• ERP data entry and tracking (Infor Syteline preferred)
• Maintain accurate engineering and production documentation

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling and drawing creation required)
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• ERP experience (Infor Syteline preferred but not required)
• Manufacturing experience preferred; defense industry or AS9100 experience is a plus
