Job description

Overview of Position: Engineering technicians have a wide range of hands‑on duties, including, Part processing and testing per customer requirement. Also going to liaison between Operation, Engineers and Lab.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage workflow and execute production tasks to meet or exceed customer delivery schedules. Ensure product quality by taking precise measurements for critical dimensions and meticulously documenting all data and production records. Maintain a consistent and exacting approach to all production processes to guarantee repeatability and quality. Work in a cleanroom environment to support specialty manufacturing processes. Collaborate with the engineering team to support design‑of‑experiments (DOE) and the development of new and existing customer processes. Perform precise cleaning and preparation operations on critical parts. Create Data summary package for customer. Perform chemical preparation and waste disposal/consolidation, and safety initiation program. Perform Good Manufacturing Practice (GMPs), which include proper housekeeping, calibration / PM program Other duties as assign

Education and/or Work Experience Requirement
  • Education: A technical certificate or associate's degree in a relevant field such as Chemical Technology or Chemical Process Engineering.
  • Experience: Prior hands‑on experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment, including the safe use of chemicals and specialized equipment.
  • Skills: A proven track record of adhering to strict safety protocols and handling delicate materials with precision.
  • Work Ethic: Possesses a high degree of quality orientation and takes pride in producing excellent work.
  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in using computer systems for data management, process tracking, and documentation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle and feel; talk or hear and smell. The employee is required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds on a repetitive basis. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus, especially during inspection operations. Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hourThis job equally operates in a production and professional office environment. The environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold and heat (non-weather related), working near moving mechanical parts or equipment. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds. Physical requirements further include the ability to engage in productive and collaborative communication and may need to be performed during non-standard hours, including nights, weekends and possibly holidays. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the facility. The employee is required to sit; use hands to finger; handle; or feel/hold objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; speak, hear, and smell. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear as well as interact with other employees. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Generally, the incumbent must be able to sit/stand and use a computer for extended periods of time.
