Job summary

Preciball, USA, is seeking an Engineering Technician to support day-to-day engineering efforts in Pooler, Georgia. The role focuses on gaining in-depth knowledge of ball manufacturing, damage detection, and inspection methods while assisting with continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Entry level Engineer or Engineering Technology degree, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ability to multitask and maintain process for multiple responsibilities.
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) a must.
• Experience with ISO-9001:2005 Quality Management system is a PLUS
• Experience in problem solving methods such as "5-Why" is a PLUS
• Experience with CAD or other drafting solutions is a PLUS
• In depth knowledge of ball manufacturing is a PLUS, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge in ball manufacturing processes and inspection methods.
• Operate and understand mechanical inspection machines (Aviko Scanning, Roller Sorting, Vibratory Bowl Dyring).
• Understand diameter gauging devices, roundness testing, hardness testing, and surface finish equipment.
• Identify damages and points of occurrence; contribute to engineering solutions for safety and efficiency.
• Support Supplier Development efforts to improve the supply base.

The Engineering Technician will support Engineering efforts within Preciball, USA. The primary focus will be supporting day to day operations, while gaining an in-depth knowledge of ball manufacturing, damage detection and recognition, as well as ball inspection methods

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
